A senior experienced employee was building wooden pallets with a nail gun inside our manufacturing building. As EE was positioning a piece of lumber, EE's nail gun slipped and misfired into EE's opposite hand. The employee was immediately driven to the closest emergency room. EE was released the same day around 1:00 PM to return to work by the treating physician.
