Employee was drilling shot holes when an air operated ram for holding the steel broke. The employee stopped drilling, moved the drill, and exited the cab. The broken part fell approximately ten feet, striking the employee on the hard hat and nose. The employee received cuts requiring two stitches.

End of shift employee was getting out of Volvo Rock Truck, coming down steps, holding on to hand rail, thought ground was close and jumped backwards while hanging onto the hand rail injuring right shoulder.
