While said operator was breaking granite into smaller pieces with a hydraulic breaker, a shard of granite went through the excavator cab safety glass and struck operator in the forehead. He remained conscious and alert. Was brought to local clinic where they sutured the contusion. Doctor said he could return to work next day
Employee was cutting a piece of rubber with a box cutter and cut his left index finger, cut resulted in employee getting stitches.
