EE WAS WORKING ON THE WELDER TO REPAIR IT WHEN HE REMOVED THE GUARD TO CHECK ON A STUCK GOVERNOR CONTROL. HE REACHED UP TO FREE THE ROD AND HIS FINGERS SLIPPED, CAUSING THEM TO GET CAUGHT IN T HE FAN. EE SUFFERED NEAR AMPUTATION AND COMPOUND FRACTURES OF HIS INDEX FINGER AND MIDDLE FINGER ON HIS RIGHT HAND.
