EE's index finger was cut in a pinch point which caused EE to receive 17 stitches. EE stated a gust of wind made the platform lift faster than anticipated and EE didn't have enough time to move EE's hand.

Two employees were working at the dry plant and were going to grease equipment on an elevated platform. The first employee went up and dropped a rope down to tie the grease gun to. The second employee started up before the grease gun had made it to the top. The grease gun became untied and fell striking the second employees nose.
Employee was wearing gloves and getting tools out of a toolbox. The toolbox lid closed on the employees left index finger. Once the employee removed employees glove employee had a small cut that required stitches and a finger splint. The employee was released back to work with light duty restrictions.
