On the morning of 8/26/2023, employees arrived on site to run the plant. A small fire was discovered under the main feed hopper. Further investigation determined a larger fire had engulfed the entire plant overnight. Site security camera footage noted the fire broke out on the wet plant on 8/25/2023 at approximately 9:00 pm.
