Mining near a fault line, the intersection of #3 Entry fell approximately 10 to 12 feet high. There was no damage to ventilation or equipment on the section. No miners were involved in the fall, so therefore no injuries.

A rock fall was discovered during the weekly examination of the return area. The fall was 3500 feet from the working section. The fall was at SS 550 approaching the #3 seal. The area will be dangered off and a walkway to the #3 seal will be timbered off for safe access to the #3 seal.

ROCK SLID OFF SIDE OF MINER ABOUT 7' HIGH IN INTERSECTION. FROM THE SIDE OF THE MINER IT SLID DOWN THE LEG OF THE INJURED WHO WAS PUTTING OIL INTHE MINER, CUTTING HIS LEG ABOUT 5". ROCK WAS 1' IN DIAMETER, 1/2 TO 1' THICK.
