Accident type, without injuries

Mining near a fault line, the intersection of #3 Entry fell approximately 10 to 12 feet high. There was no damage to ventilation or equipment on the section. No miners were involved in the fall, so therefore no injuries.

Struck by falling object

A piece of rock fell from the roof of the mine mashing employee's hand between it and the drill pot of the machine.

EE reported Wednesday 1/3/07 by telephone to mine operator that on monday he had tripped on miner cable and injured his back.

Employee lifted the cable reel to the TD2-43 roof bolter and strained his back.

EE was operating the td2-43 roof bolter when he was struck in the finger with a thin sharp peace of metal.

Accident type, without injuries

A rock fall was discovered during the weekly examination of the return area. The fall was 3500 feet from the working section. The fall was at SS 550 approaching the #3 seal. The area will be dangered off and a walkway to the #3 seal will be timbered off for safe access to the #3 seal.
