EE was inspecting engine bay on loader. Shocks on engine bay door loader failed. Overhead door fell and hit EE on top of the head.

Employee was arranging a large stone on a pallet. EE slipped and fell face first into the stone, hitting EE's chin, resulting in minor abrasions and a fractured tooth.

Contact with electrical current

At approximately 1:38pm lightning struck the Volvo 110 Loader, #1443, on the lift arm or forks. It is believed that the lightning jumped from the forks and struck the ground employee on his right side and exited near his right ankle. The ground employee sustained burn injuries to his upper arm, right side of torso, right leg and foot.

Employee was carrying stone to stack on pallet, when he felt a growing pain on his upper left leg next to his groin. The pain was bad enough to report it to his Supervisor.
