THE INJURED EE WAS ATTEMPTING TO ENTER CAB OF DRILLING EQUIPMENT WHEN HIS FOOT SLIPPED OFF OF RUNNING BOARD. THIS FALL CAUSED A STRAIN TO T HE INJURED\S ARM & SHOULDER RESULTING IN A SEPERATI ON OF THE SHOULDER DUE TO THE PULL ON THE DOOR HANDLE.

THE INJURED WORKER AND THE DRAGLINE OPERATOR WERE REPLACING A WORN DRAG CABLE ON THE 4600 MANITOWOC DRAGLINE THEY HADLOOPED THENEW CALBE THROUGH THE CLAW AND WERE PREPARING TO PLACE THE WEDGE IN THE CLAW TO DRAW THE SLACK FROM THE DRAG CABLE. WHEN THE INJURED WORKER REACHED FORTHE WEDGE THE DRAG CABLE SLIPPED FROM THE CLAW AND STRUCK HIM IN THE FACE CAUSING A LACERATION ON THE NOS
