ACCIDENT OCCURRED WHEN A CABLE BEING USED TO PULL THE DREDGE BROKE AND THE DREDGE BEGAN DRIFTINGBACKWARD. THE OPERATOR DID NOT USE GOOD JUDGEMENT AND WAS UNABLE TO LOWER THE REAR SPUD IN TIME TO AVOID CONTACT WITH THE POWER LINE. 2 OPERATORS WERE TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE BUT WERE UNINJURED AND RELEASED. 3 WKS LATER FILED INS CLAIM OF ALLEGED INJ FROM ACC
