EE had removed parts from a Caterpillar 980 loader and was pressure washing them. He had brushed a cleaning agent on the parts, and must have gotten some of the liquid on his hands. He developed a rash on his hands and thought he had poison ivy, until it did not get any better.

A shackle hit a contract rigger in the nose as he was guiding it away from a counterweight.

Employee slipped while exiting water truck cab. Experienced back pain two days later.

Employee was loading scrap metal into a loader bucket when he strained his back.

Crusher head being removed from crusher by crane swung, crushing employee's hand against a support bolt. Crushing injury to middle and ring fingers of right hand.

Employee lost his footing while dismounting a Cat 960 wheel loader. He fell to the ground catching his right arm under his body, injuring his right shoulder. Injury has been diagnosed as a damaged right rotator cuff, to be confirmed by a future MRI.

Injured employee was helping re-install a speed reduction gearbox onto a conveyor drive. The gearbox slipped trapping the employee's hand between the gearbox and an angle iron support. Employee suffered a crushing injury to his right index finger. Injury was later determined to involve a fracture of the right index finger.

MECHANIC INJURED EE WAS TEST-DRIVING A TRUCK WHEN HE COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER TRUCK. EE MAY HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING A DIABETIC REACTION AT THE TIME.

EE WAS HOLDING A TAILGATE DURING REPAIRS, IT SLIPPED FROM HIS GRIP AND PINCHED HIS FINGERTIPS.

EE STEPPED DOWN APPROX 30" FROM A PLATFORM TO THE GROUND AND TWISTED HIS RT ANKLE.

EMPL TRYING TO REMOVE ROCK FROM CRUSHER STRAINED BACK.

EE WAS DUMPING 2FF SOME STONE FAILED TO KICK POWER TAKE-OFF OUT OF GEAR OPENING TAILGATE & CAUGHT HANDS.

EMPLOYEE WAS HE5PING TO TAKE DRILL BIT APART WHEN A BOTTOM PIECE OF BIT CAUGHT EMPLOYEE IN THE SIDE AND PUSHED HIM AGAINST ROCKS.

EMPLOYEE REPORTED TWISTING KNEE ON 5-31-84 BUT DID NOT FELL MEDICAL ATTENTION NECESSARY AND CONTINCED TO WASH UNTIL 6-11-84 WHEN HE SAW DR. HAD X RAY AND WAS TOLD TO STAY OFF LEG.

EMP WAS ON SIDE OF TRUCK CHECKING LOAD SLIPPED WHILE DISMOUNTING
