Orion Marine Contractors · Over-exertion in lifting objects

The employee, an equipment fueler, reported to the on-site supervisor on 6/22/19 that EE was experiencing increased back pain and experiences back pain due to age and previous back surgery requiring periodic treatment. On 6/24/19, while at home, employee reported to supervisor via phone that the injury actually occurred handling 2" full fuel hose at fueling station.

Orion Marine Contractors · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

The IP grabbed the top door handle of the excavator and started to close door. The wind was catching the door which required them to use more force to close. When the door shut, the IP's finger was contacted between the door and the CB radio next to the door. This resulted in the removal of the tip of the right middle finger requiring medical treatment.
