DRILL HELPER WAS FETCHING CORE BOXES. WHEN RETURNING TO RIG, BLIZZARD CONDITIONS OBSCURED HIS VIEW. HE STOPPED THE PICKUP TRUCK. THE TRUCK WAS ON A HILL & SLID BACKWARDS ON ICE. HE COULD NOT S TOP IT SO HE JUMPED OUT. THE TRUCK STOPPED SAFELY IN THE DITCH. NO DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK. EE HURT HIS RT SHOULDER WHEN HE JUMPED OUT.

EE WAS STANDING ON TOP OF A FLAT CAR-RAIL- NAILING OVERHEAD WHEN FLAT CAR SLIPPED PAST WHEEL CHALKS & MOVED ENOUGH TO CAUSE EE TO LOSE BALANCE & FALL. EE LANDED ON RAIL 2\ BELOW THEN COMPLETELY LOAST BALANCE & FELL INTO FLATCAR, STRIKING LEFT ASHOULDER ON CAR COUPLING.
EE WAS PERPARING A WORKING PLACE FOR DRILLING-A RAISE & START OF A SUBLEVEL THAT WAS TO BECOME A SHRINK STOPE ONE END OF IT ANYWAY- THE WORKING PLACE HAD BEEN LEFT FOR 2 WEEKS BECAUSE OF OTHE R DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES. T. SMITH JR. THE FOREMAN ON THAT SHIFT WAS NOT CAUSTIOUS ENOUGH & FAILED TO BAR DOWN WHEN FIRST ENTERING THE AREA & WAS HIT BY A ROCK THAT FELL APPROX 25#.
EE & HIS PARTNER HAD JUST FINISHED DRILLING & LOADING A ROUND. GENE WAS TYING HIS ELECTRIC CAP INTO THE PRIMACORD WHILE HE WAS PARTIALLY UNDER THE RAISE, A RATHER SMALL ROCK FALL SLUFFED OFF OF A SHOULDER OF THE RAISE-THE PORTION OF ROCK ADJOOINING THE ROOF OR BACK TO ONE OF THE RIBS OR WALLS- THE FALL STRUCK HIS RIGHT SHOULDER- NOT CAUSING ANY SERIOUS INJURY BUT LEAVING HIM VE
