Employee was walking to shore from dredge, tripped and fell to shoreline. Employee had the wind knocked out of him and had pain in his shoulder. Diagnosed on 09/16/2012 with three cracked ribs and a lacerated spleen.

PUSHING A FENCE POST IN SAND WITH LOADER BUCKET, BENT OVER TO SEE IF POST WAS STRAIGHT AND SIGNAL LOADER OPERATOR TO LIFT BUCKET. POST HAD TENSION ON IT AND SPRUNG BACK HITTING EMPLOYEE IN FOREHEAD CAUSING A CUT TO HIS FOREHEAD ABOVE AND BETWEEN THE EYES.
