Miner was using bottle jack to to lift wash plant screen box to change springs. As miner reached to place block under screen box, screen box slipped off jack pinching right thumb. Right forearm also broke.
Employee was shoveling sand at Wash Plant. When he threw the sand that was on the shovel, he pulled/strained his left groin.
