I,NAME,NEW EMPLOYEE IN TRAINING, WAS ASSISTING THE PLANT OPERATOR OIL THE SAND CLASSIFIER DRIVE MECHANISM. THE MEN IMPROPERLY ENTERED AN AREA OF OPERATING MACHINERY TO DUE THIS MAINTANENCE. I, NAME SAID HIS FOOT SLIPPED LANDING IN THE PINCH POINT OF THE CLASSIFIER\S RING AND PINION GEAR, THE GUARD WAS NOT IN PLACE.
