HE WAS SITTING 3N THE CAB OF THE BACKHOE TALKING WITH I.NAME AS TO WHAT WORK WAS REQUIRED.SUDDENLY,WITHOUT WARNING,THE BACKHOE ROLLED BACKWARDS DOWN AN INCLINE ON THE ROAD,RAPIDLY GATHERING SP EED.HE JUMPED O6T AND LANDED HEAVILY IN A DITCH.BROKEN RIGHT FEMUR.BACKHOE DID NOT HIT HIM.PROBABLY DUE TO BRAKE FAILURE.
