IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING A NEW CLASSIFER ON DREDGE III, THE EE WAS TIGHTENING BOLTS WITH AN 1 1/4" COMBINATION WRENCH. WHILE PULLING THE WRENCH, THE WRENCH SLIPPED STRIKING THE EE ON HIS L WOER LIP. THE INJURY REQUIRED THREE SUTURES AND CHIPPED A TOOTH.

EMPLOYEE WAS DECKING ON THE M/V MARY JANE AS THE BOAT PREPARED TO LAND AT THE CRANE BARGE. A STEEL MANDOOR WAS OPEN. AS THE BOAT TURNED SHARPLY TO LAND AGAINST A BARGE, THE DOOR SWUNG SHUT A S THE EMPLOYEE STARTED THROUGH THE DOOR, CATCHING HIS HAND.

EMPLOYEE WAS BUILDING EQUIPMENT GUARDS. HE WAS WELDING PIPE SUPPORTS WHEN MOLTEN SLAG FROM THE WELDING PROCEDURE BURNED AND DAMAGED THE ACETYLENE HOSE OF A CUTTING TORCH THAT LAY NEAR HIM. THE FLASH OF BURNING ACETYLENE GAS BURNED THE EMPLOYEE'S LEFT HAND AND RIGHT FOREARM.

EMPLOYEE WAS IN A HURRY TO MOVE A BARGE. HE GRABBED THE CLUTCH ROD HANDLE OF THE BARGE WINCH WHICH SLIPPED, CAUSING A BRUISE ON HIS RIGHT HAND, AS THE WRENCH STILL HELD IN HIS HAND, IN THE PUS HING MOTION WAS BETWEEN THE WRENCH AND FRAME OF THE WINCH AS THE LOCATION OF HIS HAND.
