LOADER OPERATOR NOTED FLAMES FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF LOADER, HE & CO-WORKER ATTEMPTED TO EXTINGUISH FLAMES WITH UP TO 6 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. THE FIRE DEPT. WAS CALLED & LOADER ENGINE COMPAR TMENT & CAB BURNED. DURATION OF THE FIRE WAS LESS THAN 20 MINUTES.

EMPLOYEE WAS USING A SMALL CHAIN SAW (360 HOMELITE) TRIMMING LIMBS FROM A DOWN TREE. EMPLOYEE STATED THE CHAIN CAME IN CONTACT WITH SMALL LIMBS OTHER THAN THE ONE HE CHOSE TO CUT. THIS CAUSED THE SAW TO KICK BACK STRIKING HIM ON LEFT LEG.
