Geaux Prop LLC · Struck against stationary object

At approximately 1145, a contractor was filling a water truck and began closing a valve after the truck was full. While applying force, the valve handle broke, causing the contractor's arm to move upward and strike an adjacent valve, resulting in a laceration to the left elbow.

Geaux Prop LLC · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

While a miner was docking the boat in rainy, windy conditions, the motor failed at idle, causing loss of control. Wet, slippery surfaces and an attempt to prevent collision led to a slip and fall, resulting in the miner's right forearm being caught and crushed between the boat and dredge. The miner was assisted and transported to the hospital at - 2:26 AM.

The miner was working by the conex obtaining a service water pump and motor to install on the dredge. While loading items into the skid steer bucket with two plant employees, the injured miner lost EE's grip and dropped EE's end onto EEs finger, which resulted in a cut to EEs finger. The miner finished work on the dredge. At 10:10 pm the miner left the site to go to the hospital.
