DelHur Industries, Inc. · Struck against a moving object

Truck was loaded at pit. Driver was leaving pit and though truck was in lower gear. Tried to down shift and could not. Applied brakes but was not able to get back in gear. Picked up too much speed so she steered into bank. Truck and trailer flipped into irrigation ditch.

WHILE MOVING A METAL CONVEYOR STAND, EE LOST CONTROL OF THE STAND, PINCHING HIS LEFT THUMB BETWEEN THE STAND AND THE FRAME OF THE CONVEYOR. THE RESULT WAS THE BREAKING OF THE LAST BONE IN HIS LEFT THUMB.
