A PORABLE CRANE MOUNT ON T HE BACK OF HYDRAULIC TRUCK WAS BEING USED BY THE VICTIM TO LOWER A SECTION OF CHAIN LINK FENCE THAT WAS MOUNTED TO T HE TOP OF THE CHAIN LINK OVER THE EDGE OF THE H GHWALL. THE CHIAN LINK WAS TO BE INSTALLED OVER THE MINE ENTRANCE. THE CRANE TIPPED OVER THE EDGE FALLING 80\ TO THE QUARRY FLOOR.
EMPLOYEE WAS LIFTING THE HOOD ON THE SCALER TO CHECK THE ENGINE OIL AND FELT HIS BACK POP.THIS IS PART OF HIS DAILY ROUTINE AND EMPLOYEE SAID HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT.

EMPL WAS BEING LOADED OUT OF MINE TKING IT TO PRIMARY. LOADER RAN UP ON ROCK & CAUSED ROCK TO SHIFT TO LEFT SIDE OF BUCKET & ON TRUCK WHICH CAUSED ROCK TO FALL ON EMPL'S ARM.
