While co worker was counter sinking holes for set screws using electric drill the injured miner was holding the piece being drilled when the bit broke thus forcing the drill bit into his right thumb.

While tack welding a piece of angle iron to the Plant structure apparently the tack broke striking the miner on the cheek lacerating it to require 4 sutures.

Dredge was being pulled to bank by the excavator. While the dredge operator was allowing the far cable to give slack a miner who was in the aluminum boat allowed himself to get near the far cable and he states that it struck him. No witness.
