CRANE WAS PICKING A USED CONCRETE BEAM OFF A LOWBOY TRAILER. THE CONCRETE FAILED ON THE RIGHT SIDE LETTING THE CABLE UP INTO THE REBAR. THE CABLE SLID TO CENTER CAUSING ALL THE LOAD TO BE TRA NSFERRED TO LEFT SIDE CREATING EXCESSIVE LOAD ON THE BOOM. BOOM BENT TO LEFT & CAME DOWN. THE INJURED WALKED FROM RIGHT SIDE TO LEFT & WAS WALKING UNDER BOOM WHEN STRUCK ON HEAD.
