EE WAS OBSERVING CRUSHING PLANT IN OPERATION. STRONG WIND WAS BLOWING EVIDENTLY WIND BLEW A PIECE OF SAND OF GRAVEL INTO HIS EYE. RESULTING IN CORNEAL SCRATCH TO THE SURFACE OF HIS LEFT EYE EE WAS CLEANED MEDICATED AND PATCHED. ON MORNING OF 11-28-90 BY PHYSCIAN RESERIPTION DRUG ISSUED FOR PAIN. NO PERMANENT DAMAGE RESULTED.

EMPL WAS WORKING ON WELDING TRUCK IN SHOP. EMPL WAS ATTEMPTING TO REMOVED GALDED NUT FROM FRONT END PART BY HEATING NUT WITH CUTTING TORCH. AS EMPL WAS HEATING NUT TORCH POPPED & SENT HOT MET AL OR SLAG INTO INSIDE CORNER OF RIGHT EYE RESULTING TO MINOR BURN TO EYE. FOREIGN MATERIAL WAS NOT EMBEDDED IN EYE BUT PRESCRIPTION DRUG WAS ISSUED TO PREVENT INFECTION.
