Talon Concrete and Aggregates LLC · Struck by falling object

Employee went to mount tongue of trailer that pump was mounted on, to the ball on the maintenance truck. Truck was not aligned with the tongue so employee went to move the tongue over. Employee moved the tongue too far over causing the tongue on the trailer to slip off the blocks and smash his finger under the tongue.

Employee was walking along frame of rock crusher, slipped off and fell to ground causing elbow injury.

Employee operating loader, inadvertantly loader bucket struck rock debris pile, causing loader to abruptly stop. Operator was gripping steering wheel with both hands, causing a slight impact affecting wrists of operator; wearing seatbelt. Operator remained in full duty work as per doctor. As of early April, employee received minor physical therapy for wrist discomfort.

EE came to work this morning and notified other ee that he did not feel good he was having chest pains. Other ee told mgr ee what was going on. MGr said take ee to the hospital. Other EE took him to the hospital and came back to work. He had test ran and the hospital found he had 2 blocked arteries and they needed to do open heart surgery.
