Injured employee was tightening Pitman wedge bolts while using a knock out wrench to tighten bolts. When he struck wrench with hammer he pinched his left hand between the hammer and wrench causing a laceration to the left hand.

The employee was attempting to open the lid of the crusher to rotate for repairing broken parts. He reached his hand in the grove of the lid for a handhold to rotate and the lid fell and caught the two middle fingers on his right hand. The injury resulted in lacerations to his fingers.
