While doing so EE hit the top right of EE's hand on the metal drive gear box that stands out from the screen. Employee was taken for X-Rays and sustained a small fracture to EE's right metacarpal.

Employee was in the process of changing wear iron on a cone crusher. While installing the feed plate into the bottom of the crusher, and getting it into its final position, the metal plate slipped unexpectedly, pinching their right ring finger between the feed plate and the screen deck.
