EMPLOYEE STEPPE8 IN TOWING HAWSER AS IT WAS BEING LET OUT TO TOW BARGES. HIS LEG WAS CAUGHT IN LINE AND PULLED IT AGAINST THE TOWING BIT BREAKING BOTH BONES ABOVE THE ANKLE ON THE RIGHT LEG, SEVERING THE MA3N ARTERY AND DAMAGING THE SKIN TISSUE EXTENSIVELY.

A PIPE ON THE DREDGE "LARUNO" STARTED LEAKING AND MUD FELL ON DECK. EMPLOYEE WALKED THROUGH THE MUD ON HIS WAY TO THE GALLEY AND SLIPPED AND SPRAINED HIS ANKLE. THERE ARE THREE DOORS TO THE G GALLEY AND EMPLOYE COULD HAVE USED ONE OF THE OTHER ENTRANCES.
