Miner dropped rock on left foot, initial exam was uncertain -- reexamination on 6-9-11 verified a hairline fracture of metatarsal on outside left behind small toe.

EE WAS STACKING ROCK ONTO THE ROCK BOX; HE HAD PLACED A RANDOM PIECE OF ROCK AT THE BACK OF THE BOX. WHEN HE TOSSED THE NEXT ROCK INTO THE BOX, THE BACK PIECE FELL AND SEVERELY SMASHED HIS THU MB. HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE HE WAS REFERRED TO A BONE AND JOINT SPECIALIST.
