R J Grondin & Sons · Caught in, under or between running or meshing objects

EE was fixing a skirt rubber on conveyor for crusher. He had not shut down/locked out the machine. As he climbed out from under crusher he hit the control for the conveyor that he was kneeling on. EE was pulled 20' up on the conveyor where he held onto a steel cross member until a fellow employee shut down the machine. He suffered a twisted ankle & a fractured vertebra in his back.
