A miner was changing the bucket teeth on a loader. When the miner was striking the tooth for removal, a piece of metal broke off and embedded in the right leg, which required removal.

A miner reported back pain the day after was tasked with shoveling material. First aid treatment was administered on site and EE declined to see a medical professional or go to the clinic. *On 6/15/2022, the EE called off work and said was going to the ER. The employee did not return to work.

At approximately 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, an electrician was in the process of pulling wire through a 3/4" electrical conduit from a junction box to the belt scales. As he pulled, his left foot slipped and he started to fall but was able to catch himself and regain his footing, but he twisted as he did, and he felt a pop in his back.

Employee reported severe pains in upper stomach / lower chest area. He had been operating a skid steer prior to feeling bad. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It was determined that he had a bad reaction to medication, Predazone, a medicine his family doctor had given him for poison ivy/oak. Employee felt he got the poison ivy/oak from his dog.
