USING SLATE BAR3TO SCALE LOOSE ROCK.PIECE OF SLATE STRUCK ON SHOULDER.COMPLETED SHIFT RETURNED NEX DAY.DURING SHIFT IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HE WASNT NEEDED.HOWEVER,SINCE HIS SHOULDER STILL SORE ,SENT TO HOSPIT5L FOR X-RAY.X-RAYS WERE NEGATIVE AND HE RETURNED TO WORK NEXT SCHEDULED WORK DAY 8-18-86.

SUBJECT MAN WAS3OPERATING 3-WHEEL DRAG SCOOP. SCOOP RAN OVER ROCK IN ROADWAY CAUSING HIM TO BOUNCE AND STRIKE HIS SHOULDER ON MINE ROOF, INJURY RESULTED IN A BRUISED SHOULDER WITH MILD SEPARAT ION, MAN IS SCH9DULED TO RETURN TO WORK IN ONE WEEK.
