EMPLOYEE WAS HELPING MAKE A BELT SPLICE. HE REACHED TO MOVE THE ANVIL BEFORE THE OTHER MAN WAS THROUGH BRADDING THE SPLICE AND WAS STRUCK BY THE HAMMER. THIS RESULTED IN A LACERATED LT. INDEX FINGER. EMPLOYEE HAS BEEN RE-INSTRUCTED IN THE PROPER WAY TO MAKE A BELT SPLICE.
