January 25, 2021 NY · Metal/Non-Metal rotary bucket excavator operator FALL OF FACE/RIB/PILLAR/SIDE/HIGHWALL
Pareene Contracting Inc · Struck by falling object

A frozen chunk fell down approximately 20ft. into the cab of the excavator that was working at the toe of the face. The front post of the cab was pushed into the operators leg pinning them in the machine. The operator sustained a fractured sternum as a result of the cab shifting.
