Employee washing the cement floor of underground drill station and was pricked in the right middle finger by a piece of wire braiding protruding from the connection end. Prescription drugs were administered to combat blood poisoning.

Miner bent over filling the oiler of a jackleg drill when the drill fell over striking the miner in the back of the head. Miner did not report incident to management until 05/01/08. Doctor prescribed prescription muscle relaxer

Installing 6 inch diameter x 20 foot long steel air line. Pipe slid out of pipe hanging cradle and struck right arm. X-ray 03/12/08 showed no fractures and employee was given a full duty return to work release. On 04/03/08 a MRI revealed a tear in the bi-cep muscle requiring surgery to repair. First shift missed 04/04/08

Electrician installing electrical cable. Went home at the end of shift 02/16/08 and on 02/17/08 his back was hurting and went to the clinic where he was given presciption drugs for pain. On 02/18/08 electrician went to his chiropractor where his L-5 disc was realigned. Electrician returned to work on his next scheduled shift 02-20-08 with a full duty release.

Small piece of rock lodged on miner's left eye. Miner went to the clinic 10/30/07 where the Dr. swabbed the particle out of eye and applied a prescription antbiotic to the eye.

Miner operating an EJC 416D haul truck on 03-Sept-07. Brakes set suddenly and he bunped his left elbow on the operators cab. On 04-Sept-07 miner reported the elbow swelling. Miner was trasported to the clinic where an infection was determined to be the culprit. Prescription anti-biotic given to treat the infection.
