JOHN WAS REMOVING RAILROAD TIES THAT WERE STACKED APPROX. 6' HIGH FOR CRIBBING ON A DRAGLINE REPAIR JOB. AS HE ROLLED ONE OF THE TIES OFF THE PILE, ONE END HIT THE GROUNG AND THE OTHER CAME U P AND CAUGHT HIS FINGER BETWEEN THE TIE AND THE COUNTERBALANCE IT HAD BEEN ORIGINALLY PLACED UNDER FOR SUPPORT.
