Employee was trying to close and latch dozer door frozen due to cold weather when he slammed the door on his finger.

Employee collapsed while loading bulk explosives into boreholes in preparation for a production blast. CPR was started immediately by co-workers. Employee was taken by ambulance to local hospital and pronounced dead approx 1 hour later. Autopsy results are currently pending. Co-workers stated employee appeared normal leading up to the incident and showed no signs of distress.
