Electrician was drilling 3/4 hole in electrical J box with right hand. He was using his left hand inside the box to hold wire out of the path of the hole saw. Hole saw unexpectedly came through the box & impacted electrician left index finger.

pov berth #14 employee atempted to climb down ladder onto dredge, ladder slipped out of position onto the deck of dredge. employee fell aproximately 10-13 feet to the deck, inturn landed onto feet then fell on his shoulder. the employees failed to secure ladder before descending to the dredge.

EE was using 16 lb. hammer on pipe and missed the lip on the 18" pipe. EE caught his finger between the handle of the hammer and the edge of pipe. The handle then swung around after hitting the pipe and hit EE's left side of torso. Injuries resulted in a laceration to the right forefinger and contusion to left side torso.

NO COMPLAINT OF INJURY TO HIS BACK TILL 3/5/02 AT WHICH TIME WE TOOK HIM IN FOR MED EXAM & HE WAS PUT ON LIGHT DUTY. NEVER COMPLAINED TILL 3/5/02 OF ANY BACK PROBLEMS.

TIED BARGE AND TUG UP TO SPUD BARGE-HOOKED UP 5 PIPE-OFF LOAD BARGE AND SAND. TIGHTENED UP BARGE MORNING UINES STARTED TO UNHOOK 5 PIPE WHEN RACKETED GEAR TOOL-TOOL SLIPPED. AND PINCHED RT LIT TLE FINGER BETWEEN TOOL AND HANDRAIL, CRUSHING FINGER TIP FRACTURING TIP AND LACERATING TIP AREA FINGER NAIL 11 SUTURES AND FINGER TIP SPLINT.
