Starting up the portable crushing plant for the day. The Belt conveyor was frozen stuck due to cold weather. Two employees were freeing it by pulling on the electric motor drive belt. When the belt came free, injured employee's finger got caught between the sheave and the belt. Resulting in the laceration of the skin and the fracture in the finger.
