Kiewit Texas Construction LP · Struck against stationary object

EE WAS CLEANING SIDE DELIVERY BELT. ONCE THE MATERIAL WAS REMOVED BETWEEN THE TAIL PULLEY AND THE BELT, THE BELT MOVED IN REVERSE DIRECTION FOR ABOUT 2'. THE EE WAS LYING FACE DOWN ON THE BELT WITH HIS HEAD CLOSEST TO THE TAIL PULLEY. WHEN THE BELT MOVED, IT SLAMMED HIS HEAD INTO THE FRAME OF THE SCREEN.
