Conditions contributing to the accident were that it was still dark, cold and the top of the hand guard happened to slip onto the belt and pulled ou of EE's hand.

EE got hung up on the air-intake breather on top of hoe, it tripped him and he fell forward landing on the fuel up spout. It hurt but he didn't know his rib was out. He didn't think anything was wrong until that night, his wife found the knot on his back. Just went step by step from there.
