Employee using a Vaclift to move stone from rollers to pallet. EE set stone on edge, on pallet. EE had stone tilted on the Vaclift, with intent to release from lift, & stand in place. Upon release, weight of stone was too great for employee to lift, and it dropped. This pinched left thumb between stone and pallet. EE suffered a laceration and broken bone on the tip of left thumb.

While drilling a hole in a guard, the drill bound-up twisting the miners right hand and wrist.
The miner was removing uniformed rise material off the conveyor belt when he turned to his left to put the material on the pallet he struck his right forearm on the veneer gauge guard.
