INJURED WAS OPERATING A D-7 DOZER TRACKING SLOPES AT KISER POINT. HE STATED THAT HE WAS GOING UP SLOPE FORWARD WHEN THE RIGHT TRACK WENT OVER A ROCK HE DECEHRATED THE ENGINE BUT THE CAB VIBRAT E AND RAISED UP CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STALL. HE SAID HE APPLIED THE BRAKES BUT DOZER ROLLED BACKWARD DOWN THE SLOPE APPROX. 100' AND STOPPED ABRUPTLY IN THE HALLOW CAUSING WHIPLASH TO NECK.

EE WAS DISMOUNTING THE DOZER WHILE ON THE STEPS ON SIDE OF DOZER HIS LEFT FOOT SLIPPED FROM THE LOWER STEP AS HE WAS MOVING HIS RIGHT FOOT TO THE DOZER TRACK. IN FEAR OF FALLING BETWEEN THE DOZER TRACK AND THE FRAME OF DOZER, HE DECIDED TO JUMP FROM THE DOZER LANDING ON HIS FEET, STRAINING HIS HIP.

WHILE RIPPING WITH THE DOZER WHICH CAUSED A JERKING MOTION & THE OPERATOR TURNING IN TH E SEAT TO WATCH HIS RIPPED, HE STATED HE STRAINED HIS BACK. THE EE HAS WORKED FROM 8/17/95 TO 10/16/95 WITH NO PROBLEMS ???
