OPERATOR SLIPPED OFF ACCESS LADDER OF VOLVO TRUCK, FELL TO THE GROUND AND SPRAINED HIS LEFT KNEE. HE VISITED THE COMPANY CLINIC AND WAS ALLOWED TO RETURN TO WORK, BUT LIGHT DUTY. DUE TO THE SL IPERY CONDITIONS, I ELECTED TO GIVE HIM THE REST OF THE WEEK OFF TO ASSURE PROPER MENDING AND AVOID FURTHER INJURY TO HIS KNEE.

THIS 39 YR. OLD TRUCK DRIVER CLIMBED ON TOP OF A WATER TANKER TRUCK AND BEGAN WASHING OUT HIS TRAILERS THAT HAD SOME FLY ASH REMAINING. IT WAS EXTREMELY COLD, WINDY, AND SLICK FOR FOOTING. THI S MAN WAS EITHER BLOWN BY THE WIND, SLIPPED ON THE SLICK METAL SURFACE, OR BOTH AND FELL APPROX. 12" TO THE GROUND.
