A 950F CAT LOADER WAS WORKING IN THE COAL PIT CLEANING UP ROCK OFF COAL. PIT MAN WAS ASSISTING LOADER OPERATOR BY WATCHING AND SHOVELING. LOADER OPERATOR BACKED OUT OF AREA. THE PIT MAN THOUG HT LOADER WAS MOVING TO ANOTHER AREA AND STEPPED IN FRONT OF LOADER. OPEREATOR HIT BRAKES BUT LOADER BUCKET HIT PIT MAN, KNOCKING HIM OFF HIS FEET. PIT MAN HAD BACK TO LOADER AT THE TIME.
