Employee was descending the access ladder under the cone crusher as the employees finger got caught on a bolt that holds together the safety gate to the hydraulic console platform.

Employee said he had been experiencing diarrhea for approximately two weeks and became ill at work. Ambulance was called and took him to hospital. He was diagnosed with dehydration due to diarrhea. Employee was given fluids and medicine for diarrhea and is doing well.

Crane operator was inspecting the winch (drum) on the crane. After inspecting the winch, the operator was climbing back to the cab of the crane when he slipped and fell approx. 8' to the ground below. Operator sustained laceration to his head and a fracture to his hip and wrist.
