When they tripped, their hand fell into the blade when they tried to catch themselves. Their right hand has three broken fingers. They went to a doctor and was told they should be out for 6/8 weeks.

Walking in yard tripped on stone and put hand out to catch himself and cut finger.
Used a pry bar to loosen slate from rolls.

Put a piece of slate on pallet did not see a sharp edge sticking out towards bottom and cut left calf on leg- taped it up but did not think it was too bad- worked rest of day after he went home decided to go to medical center and got 8 stitches. RTW Mon full duty.

Employee was sawing & splitting slate. Did not report any injury or pain when he left work 7/5/07. Saw doctor on 7/6/07.

Employee picked up a pc of slate from floor to throw into rubbish box. While doing so he twisted his right arm. Partial tear rotater cup.
EE has felt pain in right groin area for approx. a week. Kept working. Got worse. Saw dr 8/22/06 9am was diognosed having a hernia.
Employee was reaching for a block of slate from the rolls to split. Corner of slate broke leaving a sharp edge cutting his little right hand finger.
