Employee punched in at 7:00 a.m. They reported to the trimming machine and at 7:30 a.m. they tripped on a floor mat in the trimming shed. When they tripped, their hand fell into the blade when they tried to catch themselves. Their right hand has three broken fingers. They went to a doctor and was told they should be out for 6/8 weeks.

Put a piece of slate on pallet did not see a sharp edge sticking out towards bottom and cut left calf on leg- taped it up but did not think it was too bad- worked rest of day after he went home decided to go to medical center and got 8 stitches. RTW Mon full duty.
