EE HAD BEEN OILING DRAG AT 33 F & S JOB WHEN CABLE BROKE. HE AND ANOTHER EE WERE TRYING TO KNOCK THE CABLE WEDGE OUT WHEN THE DUMP SHIV BROKE LOOSE AND FELL, KNOCKING BOTH MEN ABOUT 10 FEET DO WN INTO THE PIT.

EE HAD BEEN OILING THE 5 DRAG. HE WAS GETTING OFF OF THE DRAG AT THE END OF HIS SHIFT. AS HE SLID DOWN OFF THE TRACK, WHEN HE HIT THE GROUND HE TURNED HIS RIGHT ANKLE, SPRAINING THE ANKLE. ALS O HAS TORN LIGAMENTS AND A CHIPPED BONE, ACCORDING TO THE DR HE SAW IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM.
