HE AND TWO OTHER MECHANICS WERE REPLACING BOLTS ON THE SCRAPING PLATE OF A 24 YARD TEREX EARTH SCRAPER. THE BELLY OF THE SCRAPER HAD BEEN SET ON BLOCKS AND THE BOWL WAS CHAINED UP. WHILE THE I NJURED BEGAN TO REPLACE THE BOLTS ON THE SCRAPING PLATE, CLAY, DIRT AND ROCK CAME LOOSE FROM THE BOWL AND BROKE HIS LEFT LEG.
